  • Are there any setup fees for my account?

    No, we do not charge any setup fees for our hosting services.

  • Do you offer unlimited traffic?

    There is no such thing as "unlimited traffic" Every Web Host has it's bandwidth limits.

  • Can Host Assured take care of my nameserver (DNS)changes?

    Absolutely, once your new account has been set up we will search and locate your registrar and contact you for your login information.


  • I need a secure page (SSL) can I get this?

    Absolutely, Host Assured offers this to it's clients at no extra charge.

  • Am I charged a fee when I upgrade or add any additional options?

    No. Outside of the additional cost to add up to the cost of the new plan or option, we do not charge any other fees.

  • What if I decide to cancel my account.

    If you have signed up either as a quarterly or an annual account you will be refunded using the pro-rated method. There is no refund for monthly accounts unless within the 30 guarantee period.

  • Does it take a long time for you to answer support request?

    Support request submitted between the hours of 9AM and 5PM EST are answered within the hour your request is received. While more technical issues can take up to 24 hours or more for an answer, we will respond to your request.

    If any major problems occur with our servers, we can assure you, they are being addressed before you even contact us. Sometimes things take longer to fix than what we would like and bombarding us with support requests doesn't aid in making the problem go away any sooner. If everyone can understand that servers are only machines then they can also understand that they are not immune to breakdowns no more than any other machine in the world. If at any time your account is down for an extended amount of time by all means contact us immediately.

  • How do you handle technical support?

    We have created an Online Help Center for our clients use. This Help Center will assist you in the setup and maintenance of your web hosting account. We ask that all clients refer to this Help Center prior to contacting our Technical Support Dept. In the event that you are unable to locate the information you need, then by all means contact technical support utilizing our Online Technical Support Request Form. A link to this form can be found within your control panel.

  • What about billing, how do I pay for my account?

    At the time you set up your account ( we currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover/Novus and American Express) Your credit card is set on a recurring basis, in other words, your credit card will be billed automatically each month, quarterly or annually (depending on your account) We trust our clients to ensure that there is adequate credit available on their card so that the charges go through.

  • I understand that my credit card will automatically be billed each month, but what happens if I do not have enough credit to cover the charges?

    Most people know how much credit they have on their credit cards and we count on that. In the event that the charges will not process, we will notify you via email and give you ample time to submit a new credit card number.

  • How does your 30 day money back guarantee work ?

    In the event that you become unhappy with our services within 30 days of your account activation, simply send us an e-mail with "cancel account" in the subject field. Host Assured will in-turn E-mail you to confirm your cancellation. Provide us with the necessary information and your card will be credited the hosting fee.

    ( Domain registration fees are not refundable )

  • What about domain registration fees? Are these fees included in the price of the hosting fees?

    No , registration for new domain names are charged separately. Host Assured does offer it's clients the option to have us register their domain at considerable savings. See our Registration FAQ's section to view more information in regards to fees and the registration process.

  • Speaking of registering domain names, do you handle that for us?

    Yes, we can handle the registration of your new domain name or the transfer process of your existing domain at no additional charge. (See Registration FAQ's for more information).

  • What is Name Server?

    A host, or name server, is a computer that has both the software and the data needed to resolve domain names to Internet Protocol (IP) numbers, also known as host numbers. A host record is an entry in Network Solutions' database which uniquely identifies name servers by their host name and host number.
